The 22-year-old man, surnamed Xu, died in the blast that killed eight people in Fengxian county, East China's Jiangsu province, on Thursday, said police.
Police said Xu has been suspended from school after he was diagnosed with "vegetative nervous function disturbances". He lived in a rented home near the kindergarten.
