Guo Weimin, vice minister of the State Council Information Office, met with an Israeli delegation headed by Tzachi Hanegbi, minister of regional cooperation and telecommunications, in Beijing on May 15.
The two sides exchanged views on further strengthening China-Israel friendship relations as well as media and cultural cooperation.
Hanegbi was accompanied by Joseph Draznin, the minister-counselor, and Zvi Heifetz, the Israeli ambassador to China.
