The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian and Aloft Dalian, held a Run to Give charity race on Sunday at the northeastern coastal city.

About 150 staff members, guests, and residents participated in the race and raised 10,120 yuan ($1,600) for the autistic children with World of Brut Art Culture.

The 5 km race witnessed participants running from The Castle Hotel to Dalian Forest Zoo along the scenic Binhai Road.

This is one part of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Run to Give charity run, which took place in 105 locations across Asia Pacific on Sunday.

"Run to Give underscores Starwood's commitment to drive meaningful impact to the local communities as we recognize that the vitality of our business is directly linked to the vitality of the places where we operate," said Stephen Ho, president of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Asia Pacific.
