On Sunday, China beat host Thailand 5-3 in the final to claim the title of the First U18 Deaf Indoor Futsal Football Championship with four straight wins.

Among the 12-member Chinese team, Huang Ting and Li Fangshu came from remote county Xiu Shan in Southwest China's Chongqing. The daughters of farmers were born deaf. This marked their first time to go abroad and play against foreign teams. Since 2015, Xiu Shan Special Education School has offered free training for girls with hearing disabilities.
