Siming launches series of events to celebrate Spring Festival

To celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 10, Siming district in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province held a series of events on Jan 27 and 28, including a rich array of intangible cultural heritage activities such as the traditional puppetry of Minnan in southern Fujian, paper-cutting, and calligraphy for Spring Festival couplets. The events also gathered a group of expats to experience Spring Festival traditions, and folk customs, enhancing their understanding of Chinese culture and strengthening friendships.
