As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Zhouzhuang, one of the most famous water towns in China will stage a Chinese folk music concert on Sept 15, featuring pipa master Fang Jinlong.

The performance will include classic Chinese songs such as "Moon Over the Guan Mountain", "May we all be Blessed With Longevity", "A Moonlit Night on the Spring River" and "Song of the Fishermen".

The pipa is a four-stringed instrument similar to a lute. Other instruments which will be played during the show are the guqin, a seven-string plucked instrument, guzheng, a 21-stringed instrument, and the flute.

Fang has been invited to perform at musical galas worldwide and has received rave reviews for his passionate renditions of Chinese music.
