Kunshan city in Jiangsu province is famous for its water towns such as Zhouzhuang, Jinxi and Qiandeng. However, the construction of three new amusement parks will add more attractions to the city and offer new recreational places for locals and visitors from neighboring cities.

Dream of water

Dream of water, with atotal investment of 2.2 billion yuan ($356.31 million), is a water-culture-themed park and is expected to open in May 2015.

Featuring most varieties of modern water facilities, the park includes an outdoor area, a 33,000-square-meter indoor area and a sea-themed hotel with hot springs and salt water spa.

Ferris wheel park

The Ferris wheel park, located in the Wufeng Plaza in the north of the city, is designed for children and teenagers with many amusement facilities such as a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round.

Yanidey paradise

Yanidey paradise is a large amusement park that opened to public in October 2014 as part of the Mid City, a commercial complex in the south of Kunshan integrating shopping, eating and recreation facilities.

The 'paradise' consists of four parts: a desert-themed part, a forest-themed part, a children's park and an area for parent-child interaction.

It also features water-screen movies and light shows at night.
