Five important administrations

The Kunshan government and tourism industry should work together to properly handle detailed aspects including tourism popularization, service expansion and investment attraction.

Kunshan city convened a tourist development meeting on Aug 26. Mayor Lu Jun hosted the meeting. Guan Aiguo, Party secretary of Kunshan city, attended the meeting and stressed that the government and tourist departments should work together and build a consensus in promoting urban upgrading and industry transition. Guan also said that every effort should be made to ensure Kunshan tourism takes a leading position in Jiangsu province.

With a total area of 330 million square meters, Kunshan’s tourist resorts include Zhouzhuang, Jinxi, Qindeng town, four towns in the Dianshan Lake area, and the Yangchenghu holiday resort. Kunshan has unique cultural and historical resources for developing tourism. The government and Party committee will work together to build Kunshan into a distinctive tourist resort.
