The first 3D printing photo studio opened in Suzhou, local media reported.

It only takes 2-3 minutes to finish the "photo shooting" process with a machine resembling an electronic iron scanning the body without light or background requirements.

The final product is different in size, but almost identical in shape, skin color and facial expression. The similarity is 98 percent accurate, an employee said.

The service is expensive, however, as a 10-cm product costs more than 1,000 yuan ($162.34).

Zhao Enyu, one of the partners of the photo studio, told reporters they can also make cell phone casings with the client's 3D image and name.

"It is important to keep the most wonderful moments in our life using technology," said Gong Lei, the other partner of the studio. They are cooperating with wedding companies and studios.
