Former Residence of Shen Wansan

Located at Dongzhai in Zhouzhuang, the Former Residence of Shen Wansan is a typical building in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and based on its relics. Through bronze and brick works, carved statue, clay sculptures and elaborate settings, the House vividly depicts Shen's extraordinary life. It also combines the culture of this watery region and local entrepreneurship, which is represented by Shen.

It was carved by Zhu Binren, a famous bronze sculptor in Zhejiang province, and it is 8 meters long. In front of it is a treasure basin. Tourists can appreciate the unique image of this legendary tycoon in the Yangtze Delta.

The front wall is the introduction to the House. The back is a brick sculpture of a hall of gold and jade, representing the prosperous image of Shen.
