Zhouzhuang's Lantern Festival has three noteworthy aspects. The first is the colorful festive lanterns. The second is fireworks, which represent a booming new year. The third is the lantern riddle party. Local people and visitors can participate in the lantern riddle guessing activity and have fun together.

This year's Lantern Festival saw good weather. People were smiling and happy. They lit lotus lanterns, put them on the water's surface and made wishes. Boats were decorated with beautiful lanterns in the shape of copper coins to bring wealth and fortune to the people.

The ancient stage bustled as it hosted the lantern riddle party. The party started at 6:30 pm. There were amazing song and dance performances, humorous short performances, Kunqu opera and many other wonderful performances. The party also focused on environmental protection by using used beverage bottles and tablecloths as stage props.

Lantern riddles were a popular attraction during Lantern Festival. Children eagerly raised their hands, hoping to be the first to give the answer. People who gave the correct answers won prizes. People were joyful and happy, regardless of whether they answered correctly.
