Cycling race takes in scenery of the prairies

The 2017 “Xanadu Cup” Cycling Race was held on Jinlianchuan prairie in Zhenglan Banner, Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 23.

Sponsored by the Inner Mongolia Sports Bureau, the event followed the latest rules laid down by the Chinese Cycling Association. The competitions were divided into the men’s youth group, men’s adult group, men’s elite group, and women’s group –– with races measuring 24km, 36km and 48km. More than 200 cyclists took part in the contests, which provided the opportunity to take in beautiful scenery while competing in the event.
