A conference focused on science and technology cooperation between Inner Mongolia and Israel was held in Hohhot on June 28, with the purpose of negotiating trade deals in various sectors.

The meeting was hosted by Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Bureau and the Israeli embassy, attracting nearly 300 attendees from companies, colleges and associations.

In recent years, Inner Mongolia has made great efforts to promote the development of clean energy, the coal and chemical industries, nonferrous metal production and processing, organic food, and tourism.

Famed for its tech sector, Israel has led the way in areas such as telecommunication, biotechnological engineering, and aviation.

The Inner Mongolia government hopes to strategically cooperate with Israel to improve technological innovation and scientific research in fields such as new energy, chemical engineering, and environmental protection.
