Inner Mongolia records growing foreign trade

Inner Mongolia earned over 1.2 billion yuan ($830 million) in import and export trade during May, with a 31.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to the region’s commerce bureau.

Export trade in May netted over 480 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62 percent and 22 percent growth compared to April. Imports totaled 730 million yuan, representing growth of 16.8 percent.
