O2O fresh food marketplace opens in Baotou

A fresh food marketplace employing online to offline (O2O) e-commerce opened in the Qingshan district of Baotou, Baotou Daily recently reported.

The marketplace features agricultural products and will bring convenience to 300,000 Qingshan residents.

The marketplace has seen a total investment of 150 million yuan ($21.75 million) and contains over 650 stands with overall annual revenue expected to reach 150 million yuan.

In addition to the commercial floor space, the marketplace will also include a 1,000 square-meter vegetable distribution center with a 200 square-meter storehouse.
