Baotou to promote academic exchanges with Mongolia

Baotou agreed on a memorandum of intent with Selenge province, Mongolia, on March 23 to boost academic exchanges, the Inner Mongolia Daily has reported.

According to the agreement, Baotou and Selenge province will cooperate in areas such as hosting training, seminars, summer camps and cultural exchanges. Teachers and vocational school students from both places will have opportunities to experience exchanges.

Selenge province, located in the north of Mongolia, is the nation’s most developed area, with the largest industrial and agricultural output of all regions.

Its education sector is the best in Mongolia, with the province boasting 30 general education schools, trade schools and vocational schools.
