Li Jiheng delivers work report at 10th Party congress

On Nov 22, over 650 delegates assembled at the Inner Mongolia People’s Hall to attend the 10th Regional Party Congress of Inner Mongolia, during which regional Party secretary Li Jiheng delivered a work report.

With a total of 32 pages, the report “Led by the Communist Party of China and centralized with President Xi, all Inner Mongolians work with one heart to build the region into a brilliant hub across North China” took over 100 minutes to read and won thunderous applause 15 times.
 
Li Jiheng, secretary of the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee, stressed on eight parts, including the retrospect of achievements made in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), an analysis of the current situation and tasks, approaches for boosting economic transformation, the implementation of social democracy and policies, the construction of ecological protection, the publicity of advanced culture, the promotion of multiple ethnic people’s livelihood, and the management of Party committees and members.
 
The congress presidium was composed of regional-level officials, force commanders and veterans, municipal heads, democratic parties, and associations of industry and commerce.
