Work on Baotou metro project ready to begin

Baotou's first subway line project for this year is getting underway soon, the Inner Mongolia Morning News reports on May 27, noting that the metro project is scheduled to go operational in 2022.

Earlier, the project plan has undergone an expert review from May 23 to 25.

This phase will be dealing with Lines 1 and 2, with a total length of 42.1 kilometers. And the ultimate plan is to cover six lines, for a total length of 182.5 km, or almost all the main urban districts.
