Remote Inner Mongolia areas achieving agricultural mechanization

In recent years, the agricultural mechanization of Inner Mongolia has been developing rapidly, with support from state and local financial subsidies in agriculture. In 2015, total power of the region's agricultural machinery reached 3805 kw, with the value of farm machinery growing to 48.6 billion yuan ($7.4 billion), up 20.9 percent from a year earlier. The agricultural mechanization level reached 81.4 percent, 18.4 percent higher than the national average. Many remote rural areas in Inner Mongolia have stepped into a new era of agricultural mechanization.
