Northern wetlands carp festival gets off to a good start

This year's Yellow River Wetlands carp festival opened at South Sea Lake in the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia, on March 26, with around 150 kilograms of fish caught that day. This was the seventh time for the city to hold the event, with another part – a fishing competition -- scheduled to take off in mid-April.
