National book fair in Baotou set for July

The city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia will be the site of the 26th National Book Fair this coming July 28-30, with preparation work, for example looking for volunteers proceeding smoothly, reports Baotou Daily, on Mar 8.

This year's national book fair, referred to as the "Olympics of Books", is expected to attract more than 500 publishers and agencies nationwide, with more than 2,000 booths and thousands of books, as well as sellers, universities and libraries. This year's sponsors are the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and TV, the Inner Mongolia government, the regional administration of press, publication, radio, film and TV, and the Baotou government.
