One Inner Mongolia delegate to the National People's Congress in Beijing, Ma Ruiqiang, first came to the meeting back in 2013 to try to get people to pay more attention to farming and brought some corn with him, but this year, he's turned his attention to the "Internet +" for rural industrial development. Ma got his PhD in microbiology from China Agricultural University but decided to go back home after graduation to be a full-time farmer.
