Agricultural development and technology took center stage at a forum in the Tumd Right Banner, near the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Jan 31, where the priorities were joining agriculture with the Internet, agricultural industrialization and new technology. It also gave farmers a chance to talk with companies about possible projects.

More than 500 farmers and company representatives were invited and came to share their experiences and thoughts on the field, with discussions on agricultural financing and e-commerce added to explore new agricultural models. The banner also signed contracts with companies to set up 16 technology service centers and about 300 technology service sites to help cultivate local brands.
