Inner Mongolia University wins prizes in national contest

Inner Mongolia University, in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region won five prizes from a national academic contest for university students.

The “Challenge Cup” National Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Contest, is hailed as the “Olympic Games” of Chinese university science and technology and is held every two years. It is sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, and the All-China Students’ Federation,

More than 2 million students from over 2,000 universities across the country participated in this year’s contest, the 14th session. A total of 783 pieces of works, covering 11 disciplines, competed in the final round. Inner Mongolia University won two second prizes and three third prizes, after evaluation by a committee of nearly 1,00 experts and scholars.
