Journalists start reporting tour across Hohhot-Baotou-Yinchuan-Yulin

19 journalists from 16 media organizations started a tour across Hohhot, Baotou, Yinchuan and Yulin on July 25, beginning in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The Hohhot-Baotou-Yinchuan-Yulin economic region is located in the center of Ordos Basin, involving 13 cities in Shaaxi province, Inner Mongolia and Ningxia Hui autonomous regions, which are rich in energy mineral resources.

Lasting until August 5, the tour is focusing on economic development, new businesses, key works and  projects to present the readers an accurate view of the Hohhot-Baotou-Yinchuan-Yulin economic region and to promote regional integrated development.

Moreover, in order to strengthen communication and exchange among the media in the economic region, a media alliance was inaugurated at the journey’s launching ceremony. Its first members included related media from Hohhot, Baotou, Yinchuan and Yulin, and membership will expand to the region’s other cities later.

In addition, the third joint conference of the mayors from the economic region will be held on August 3 in Yulin, Shaanxi province.
