China Dragon Boat Tournament to have 12 stops

HOHHOT, China, May 8 (Xinhua) -- China Dragon Boat Tournament 2015 will have 12 stops including Chengdu, Hainan, Inner Mongolia and other provinces, regions and municipalities, said officials of Chinese Longzhou Association on Friday.

Yidu city of Central China's Hubei Province is the first stop and the tournament will run from June to October, organizers said.

A total of 16 professional teams across China and 10 amateur teams from Hubei will compete in the first stop for the total prize of 200,000 yuan (32,220 US dollars).
