Inner Mongolia's culture enjoys popularity both at home and abroad

From Oct 27 to 31, the 2014 Russia-Inner Mongolia Culture Week took place in Ulan-Ude, capital of the Russian republic of Buryatia and Irkutskaya Oblast. A variety of exchange activities covering culture, art, education, health, performances, exhibitions and symposia were held during the week.

In 2014, over 20 culture and art teams were sent to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as over 10 countries like Thailand and Denmark, for communication and exchange.

Also in the past year, themed "Beautiful Grassland is My Home", the Australia Inner Mongolia Culture Week opened in Australia. Some Inner Mongolian art troupes were also on hand at Spring Festival celebrations in countries like Thailand, Egypt and Turkey.
