IMNU celebrates arts disciplines' 60th anniversary

This year marked the 60th anniversary of Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU)'s arts disciplines. As one of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary, IMNU's 2015 New Year Concert was held on Dec 25 in its concert hall. A wonderful performance was presented to the audience, including officials of the Inner Mongolia government, students and teachers of Inner Mongolia Normal University, and other guests.

The concert was unveiled with a symphony-featured Spring Festival from IMNU's symphony orchestra. All the performances in the concert were award winners of various art exhibitions and competitions.

Inner Mongolia Normal University was founded in 1952 and located in Inner Mongolia's capital city, Hohhot. It is a comprehensive university featuring distinctive teacher and ethnic education. The arts discipline of IMNU was established two years later after its founding in 1954. With only music and painting at the beginning, it now has a dozen secondary colleges with ethnic arts characteristics after 60 years of development.

The arts disciplines of IMNU has earned a great name for achievement both in arts and education.

IMNU's New Year Concert is a brand event of the university after being held for years successfully.
