Inner Mongolia’s animation enterprise lists on NEEQ

The listing ceremony of Inner Mongolia Donglian Television and Animation Technology Co, the first animation production company in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on the NEEQ (National Equities Exchange and Quotations) was held in Beijing on Dec 11. The company's stock code is 831398.

Attendees of the ceremony included Hou Jueshe, chairman of Inner Mongolia Donglian Television and Animation Technology Co; Li Guojian, vice-mayor of Ordos; Chen Jiayan, head of the Inner Mongolia Security Regulatory Bureau; and Pang Jiemin, chairman of Hengtai Securities Co.

To date, there are more than 200 animation enterprises registered in Inner Mongolia, with policy support from governments at various levels.

Different from other players in the domestic market, the autonomous region's animation enterprises are grounding on the unique grassland culture and ethnic groups unique in the region. These enterprises have produced a series of animation works, which have received a lot of popularities from the public.

Inner Mongolia Donglian Television and Animation Technology Co is particularly outstanding in the region.

Inspired by traditional Chinese culture, Donglian has been striving to produce animation works that are meaningful. The Stories of Chinese Moral Education, one of Donglian's animations, was adapted from traditional classics, such as Twenty-Four Histories, which presents the stories of ancient China’s moral models. It stands out from other domestic animations with its distinctive Chinese style and education.

As one of the first batch of key animation enterprises approved by the state, Donglian Animation has innovated animation development models. Instead of entertainment, it prefers moral education.

It also attaches a lot of importance to the combined development of animation and traditional industries.

Donglian's listing on the NEEQ is recognized as a landmark for Inner Mongolia's animation industry. Its animations and related industries will further optimize the region's animation industry and actively push it forward.
