Liu Shijin attends grassland industry conference

A vice-minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), Liu Shijin, took part in the 3rd China Grassland Industry Conference, in Hohhot, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 18, where he addressed the participants, who were discussing the theme "Historical opportunity – ecological civilization – food safety". The organizer of the event was the China Animal Agriculture Association.
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region, during which various celebrations are planned to showcase its prosperity and ethnic diversity.
