The 25th Inner Mongolian Tourism Nadam will kick off in Siziwang Banner, in the city of Ulanqab on July 25, when a diversity of traditional Mongolian sports contests will be organized at the Gegentala Grassland, the tourism fair's venue.

In addition to Mongolian sports contests, such as horse racing and a Mongolian wrestling competition, a large Mongolian opera featuring Long Tune will be staged at the gala event, as well as a 3D arts exhibition, a grassland food and beer festival and a self-driving tour. The Tourism Nadam has prepared Mongolian performances for tourists, including equestrianism and Matouqin (or horse-head fiddle) playing.

In order to attract more entrants to the sports contests, some new items like sheep racing and Mongolian-style chess will be added to the classic Mongolian sports contests, according to the Inner Mongolia Tourism Bureau.
