The launching ceremony of a large news coverage themed "Dynamic Inner Mongolia” that aims to record development updates of Inner Mongolia in North China was held on April 21.

The news coverage is a key part of the "Dynamic Inner Mongolia" Internet publicity campaign organized by the Internet Information Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to promote the autonomous region's "8337" development strategy, a strategy proposed in 2013 that refers to eight development orientations, three focuses, three emphases and seven key tasks in the autonomous region’s comprehensive development.

The news report will focus on eight development orientations of the autonomous region's "8337" development idea from eight news perspectives. The reports are themed: "Cleaner Production - New Energy," " Transformation - The Demonstration Effect of the New Coal Chemical Industry,” "Innovation - The Spring of the Non-Ferrous Metal and Equipment Manufacturing Industry," "Livelihood - the Green Industry," "Culture - Charming Grassland Culture," "Protection - The Construction of Ecological North Front Shelter," "Assistance - Border Security and Peace" and "Vitality – The Development of the Border Economy."

A total of eight report teams will be assigned to cover 12 leagues and prefecture-level cities of Inner Mongolia, endeavoring to report on the grassroots level and listen to public opinion.

Guided by the Publicity Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Party Committee, the news coverage of "Dynamic Inner Mongolia" is organized by Inner Mongolia Daily Media Group, the Internet Information Office and the Development Research Center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is co-organized by a variety of media including China Daily, People.cn and Nmgnews.com.cn. It is sponsored by Yili Group, a giant dairy group in Inner Mongolia.
