Chinese ambassador to Ecuador inspects Sopladora Hydropower Station

On the morning of December 13 local time, Wang Shixiong, the Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador, inspected CGGC’ project office and construction site of Ecuadorian Paute-Sopladora Hydropower Station.

Accompanied by relevant responsible person of the project office, Wang watched the short film about the construction of the project, listened to the work report on the progress of the project, shook hands with and extended his cordial greetings to officials and workers of the project office.

Wang expressed his regards to employees of the project office for their hard work in the past 2 years and 8 months and thought highly of the construction of the hydropower station, which took shape. He pointed out that, CGGC undertook lots of construction projects in Asia, Africa and South America and made great achievements, setting an example for Chinese construction enterprises to carry out the “go global” strategy.

The Chinese embassy in Ecuador will fully support CGGC’s work in Ecuador, assist Chinese firms in further expanding the market and making themselves bigger and stronger. Wang encouraged all employees of the project office to further promote the corporate spirit of “Create World-class Brand and Build Century Monument”, fulfill the agreement in good faith, guarantee both quality and quantity, overcome various difficulties and make greater achievements, so as to further accelerate the project construction and win honors for the motherland and CGGC.
