Foundation of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant

The Tianwan Nuclear Power Station Project is so far the largest technological and economic cooperation project between China and Russia. In phase-I construction of its main part, two Russian AES-91 pressurized water reactor nuclear power units were installed, each having a single-unit capacity of 1060MW. With the highest single-unit capacity in China, the nuclear power station boasts an annual energy output of 14 billion kwh.
