CGGC awarded honorary title for prominent engagement in ASEAN

An awarding ceremony was successfully held in Beijing on Jan 16 by China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) Chinese Secretariat to honor top 10 Chinese enterprises for their prominent engagement in ASEAN. China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation (CGGC) won the honorary title for its outstanding contribution to and social influence on the development of ASEAN for years.

Since its penetration into the ASEAN market in 2005, CGGC has been committed to the social and economic development in the region with its high-quality projects and products, and extensively engaged in infrastructure development of Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines and Indonesia, covering hydropower, road building, housing construction, irrigation, bridge building, water supply and power transmission and distribution.

Supported by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the ASEAN Secretariat and other related parties, the awarding event for Chinese enterprises successfully engaged in ASEAN development is co-sponsored by China-ASEAN Business Council and ASEAN Trade Promotion Association. It aims to review recent cooperative achievements between Chinese and ASEAN enterprises, introduce successful experience of Chinese enterprises that have developed in ASEAN for years and promote effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between more Chinese enterprises and ASEAN.
