ECOWAS delegation visits CGGC

On June 20, the ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) delegation of 28 members visits CGGC International.

The delegation was led by ECOWAS Commission President Mr Gbeho, Joe Gidisu, Minister of Roads and Highways, Ghana, and Alhaji. Mansaray, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Sierra Leone.

Ren Jianguo, on behalf of CGGC International, introduced the development history and overseas projects of CGGC to guests. He said, CGGC had rich experience in the construction of overseas projects and a strong financing capability, and had successfully implemented a lot of infrastructure projects in Africa and many other regions. The relationship between CGGC and ECOWAS could be traced back to as early as in 2008, when the ECOWAS delegation visited the Three Gorges Dam during its trip in China. CGGC would like to continue to keep in close touch with ECOWAS and deepen its contacts and cooperation with all ECOWAS member states to build a better Africa.

According to ECOWAS Commission President Mr Gbeho, ECOWAS and CGGC had established a long cooperation relationship. CGGC had made tremendous contributions to the economic development of West African countries. ECOWAS recognized and admired the strength of CGGC and wished further cooperation with CGGC to benefit ECOWAS member states.

ECOWAS, consisting of 12 member states, is the largest regional economic cooperation organization in Africa. The delegation members are from West African countries such as Ghana, cote d' Ivore, Togo, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
