The groundbreaking ceremony of a snow themed park was held at the foot of Longfeng Mountain in Ruzhou, Central China’s Henan province, on April 15.

The ski and snow theme park is located in Liuhe village of Dayu town, where the largest outdoor ski and snow theme park equipped with first-class facilities in Henan province is being planned. It relies on the advantageous geographical resources of Longfeng Mountain.

A total of 320 million yuan ($51.14 million) will be invested into the project, which covers an area of 200,000 square meters. The investment will be used in the construction of a primary ski track extending 800 meters, an intermediate ski track measuring 600 meters and an entertainment sledding track spanning 500 meters. In addition, the project will also include a snow amusement park and other facilities over 20,000 square meters.
