Coordination conference lays out Jianggu Mountain development

A coordination conference on Jianggu Mountain’s tourism development was held by the Ruzhou municipal government on Nov 18.

The tourism development plan of Jianggu Mountain was presented at the conference in detail. The relevant units taking part in the conference shared their opinions and advice afterwards based on their functions and responsibilities in the plan.

With an investment of 1.22 billion yuan ($200 million), the Jianggu Mountain tourism development project was processed in three phases.

The first phase will be completed by 2015 with an investment of 360 million yuan. The Jianggu Mountain scenic spot will then open to tourists.

According to the Overall Plan of the Jianggu Mountain Scenic Spot, the projects scheduled recently will be constructed over a period of three years lasting from 2016 to 2018. A total of 600 million yuan will be invested in this phase.

With an investment of 260 million yuan, the third phase of the project, scheduled from 2019 to 2020, includes tasks listed in the scenic spot’s regulatory plan. All the projects must be completed in accordance with the standards of a 5A scenic spot.

Participants of the conference included Peng Qingwang, a member of the standing committee of the Ruzhou municipal CPC committee; Guo Jie, vice-mayor of Ruzhou; and Zhang Yaofeng, vice-chairman of the Ruzhou municipal committee of the CPPCC.

Peng emphasized Jianggu Mountain’s development to the relevant units. He also stressed better communication, responsibility and service during Jianggu Mountain’s development.
