The second "village committee finances students" program and award presentation of outstanding students was held in Yanglou village of Ruzhou on August 24.

Wang Liuzhan, the headmaster of the town's central school, Cui Liwei, the headmaster of the town’s first middle school, and Wang Tiezhu, the director of the Yanglou village committee, attended the ceremony. Every student admitted to university was awarded 1,000 yuan ($157.4). Those who will enter senior high school were awarded 500 yuan. Twenty-three students were recognized and 19,500 yuan was awarded total.

"The village committee has awarded outstanding students since last year. The program is highly popular and inspires students to work hard," Wang Tiezhu said. In the coming years, Yanglou village will continue supporting students in need as long as they study hard and achieve good results.
