Liuzhou holds 2015 spring job fair

A large-scale job fair was held at the No 3 Middle School in Liuzhou, Guangxi, on March 15.

The annual fair was co-organized by Liuzhou’s Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Liuzhou Committee of the China Communist Youth League. A total of 301 companies offered 6,892 posts at the job fair. About 15,000 job seekers entered the arena, 3,737 of them having made an initial employment agreement with companies at the fair.

Private enterprises at the fair amounted to 53 percent of the total number of companies and were the main recruiting force at the job fair. Sales positions attracted the most job seekers, taking up 26 percent of the total demand. The majority of employers relaxed restrictions in education background to attract more employees. The quantity demand for technical secondary school students reached 60 percent, seeing an increase compared to the same period of the previous years.

Liuzhou’s Young Entrepreneur Council participated in this year’s spring job fair for the first time. From 2015, the council will help promote the cooperation between member companies and Liuzhou’s administration office for talent service in order to provide more posts to job seekers and propel the development of Liuzhou’s talent employment.

According to Liuzhou’s talent working office, in the next two months, several job fairs will be held for job seekers. The fairs will be held on March 21 and 28, and April 11 and 25.
