Liujiang county is located in the middle of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and has the renowned “Liujiang man” ancient humans cultural relic. It covers an area of 2,539 square kilometers with a total population of 562,000 and governs 11 towns, 11 villages, 127 administrative villages and 20 communities.

Bordering on Liuzhou city, Liujiang county is only 7 kilometers away from Lotus Liuzhou Airport. It has nine railway stations. Hunan-Guangxi, Guizhou-Guangxi and Zhicheng-Liuzhou Railways as well as National Highways 322 and 209 run through Liujiang county.

Liujiang county has a rich cultural heritage and tourism resources. Various locations with ancient culture, natural landscapes and leisure holiday resorts have attracted a great deal of tourists from both home and abroad. The county has formed a development pattern of “One-hundred-mile Liujiang River” Riverside Landscape Tourism Belt and Rural Agriculture Sightseeing Tourism Belt.
