Introduction of city leaders

Mayor: Tang Yunshu

Tang Yunshu, male, Yao ethnicity, was born in April 1963 and is from Gongcheng, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. He began his first job in December 1984 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1986. Tang graduates from Guangxi Normal University with a master's degree in economics.

He is currently deputy secretary of the CPC Hechi Municipal Committee and mayor of Hechi.

Deputy Mayor: Wei Zhaohui

Wei Zhaohui, female, Zhuang ethnicity, was born in August 1972 and is from Shanglin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. She entered the workforce in March 1996 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 2005. She graduated from Tianjin Polytechnic University with a doctorate degree in engineering.

She is currently the executive vice-mayor of Hechi and a member of the standing committee of the CPC Hechi municipal committee.

Deputy Mayor: Lu Haisheng

Lu Haisheng, male, Han ethnicity, was born in September 1970 and is from Guanyang, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. He entered the workforce in July 1994 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1996. He graduated from Guilin University of Electronic Technology with a master's degree in industrial engineering.

He is currently the vice-mayor of Hechi and a member of the standing committee of the CPC Hechi municipal committee.

Deputy Mayor: Du Jipeng

Du Jipeng, Han ethnicity, was born in October 1978 and is from Yuncheng, Shandong province. He entered the workforce in August 2000 and joined the Communist Party of China in May 2004. He earned his bachelor's degree in Foundry Engineering from Sichuan University.

He is currently the vice-mayor of Hechi and a member of the standing committee of the CPC Hechi municipal committee.

Deputy Mayor: Wei Zulin

Wei Zulin, male, Zhuang ethnicity, was born in October 1964 and is from Dahua, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. He entered the workforce in July 1986 and has no party affiliation.

He graduated from Guangxi Teachers Education University with a Master of Arts degree.

He is currently the vice-mayor of Hechi, responsible for technology, civil affairs, commerce, sanitation, family planning, medical supervision and marketing management.

Deputy Mayor: Chen Jiyong

Chen Jiyong, male, Zhuang ethnicity, was born in November 1968 and is from Donglan, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. He entered the workforce in July 1990 and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1991. He graduated from Guangxi Teachers Education University with a master's degree.

He is currently the vice mayor of Hechi and is responsible for poverty-relief work in Du'an Yao autonomous county.

Deputy Mayor: Li Fengyun

Li Fengyun, female, Zhuang ethnicity, was born in October 1965 and is from Yizhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. She entered the workforce in July 1987 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1991. She graduated from Guangxi University for Nationalities with a bachelor's degree in Chinese literature.

She is currently the vice mayor of Hechi.

Deputy Mayor: Luo Jun

Luo Jun was born in September 1965 and is from Fufeng county, Shaanxi province. He is of Han ethnicity and entered the workforce in July 1988. He holds a doctoral degree in agriculture.

He is currently the vice mayor of Hechi, in a temporary post lasting for one year, as well as the vice president of Northwest A&F University.

Deputy Mayor: Lu Jingyu

Lu Jingyu is of Zhuang ethnicity and is from Shangsi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. He was born in September 1969, entered the workforce in July 1991, and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1996. He graduated from the Party School of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee with a master's degree in national economics.

He is currently the vice mayor of Hechi, responsible for industry, natural resources, ecological environment, transportation, special services for industrial enterprises, as well as mine development and management.

Deputy Mayor: Li Wenbo

Li Wenbo is of Han ethnicity and is from Xi'an, Shaanxi province. He was born in September 1973, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1993, and entered the workforce in July 1995. He graduated from Guangxi University with a master's degree in law.

He is currently the vice mayor of Hechi, responsible for public security, administration of justice, as well as government legality.

Secretary General: Chen Bin

Chen Bin, Han ethnicity, was born in June 1974 and is from Qiyang, Hunan province. He entered the workforce in July 1996 and joined the Communist Party of China in January 2000. He did postgraduate study at the Party School of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee.

He is currently the secretary general of Hechi, and a Party member of the municipal people's government.

Bama Yao autonomous county has been honored as “China’s longevity village”.
