Experts agree that one of the attractions of investing in Baiyin concerns its supportive policies, as the central government and Gansu provincial government have launched policies to help with Baiyin’s development transformation.

Baiyin city is included in a list of resource-oriented cities which the country’s aims to develop, and is also involves one of the national strategic areas for revitalizing old industrial bases and a demonstration base for transferred industries.

The General Office of the State Council approved Baiyin industrial centers as key areas enjoying national strategic support.

The Baiyin High-Tech Development Zone has been upgraded to a national high-tech industrial development zone, and selected as a model industrial park with civil and military cooperation.

In addition, many other advantageous policies have been implemented to enhance its transformation.
