Cakebread wine dinner

Bruce Cakebread, president of the eponymous California winery and the president of the Napa Valley Vintner's Association, will introduce his wines to diners at a pairing dinner at Morton's Beijing on March 22. The four-course dinner includes a chilled seafood platter, grilled petit lamb chop, center-cut filet mignon with pan-fried foie gras and a chocolate trio dessert, each paired with a Cakebread vintage. The 2012 Dancing Bear will be a special treat: We're told only about 100 bottles get to China every year. 888 yuan plus 15 percent service charge.

6:30 pm; reservations recommended; 99 Jinbao Street, Dongcheng district. 010-6523-7777.
