Mouton Cadet wine

China Daily | Updated: 2013-05-21 14:44

Grape nuts in China may get to enjoy the same Bordeaux wines savored by Hollywood celebrities like Robert de Niro, Jude Law and Bruce Willis at the annual Cannes International Film Festival. A decade-long partner of the festival, Mouton Cadet is sending 10 percent of its 150 cases of limited edition of the Mouton Cadet Edition Speciale Cannes 2012 to China. Originating in the 1930s and now a global bestseller, Mouton Cadet wine is a creation of Baron Philippe de Rothschild of the Rothschild banking dynasty. The limited edition sells for 191 yuan ($31) a bottle. - Xu Junqian
