Man focuses life on intricacies of Chinese patterned steamed buns

Wang Puzhang, 55, mixes flour before making a set of patterned steamed buns for a customer's wedding ceremony at his home in Banyapo village, Huazhou district of Weinan, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, in the early morning of Jan 4, 2017. Huazhou patterned steamed buns, with a history of 3,000 years, is a living fossil of Chinese folk customs. The steamed buns are edible and local people gift them to relatives and friends during traditional festivals and important occasions in life. [Photo/VCG]
