A Chinese carpenter in Shenyang, Capital of northeast China's Liaoning province, surprised his neighbors by making an armored vehicle manually at home.

Liu Fulong, 48, spent about four months and nearly 20,000 yuan (US$3,250) on the homemade wooden vehicle which is almost completed.

The electric car, 2.5 meters long and 1.3 meters wide, weighs over 350kg and is able to run at the highest speed of 50 kilometers per hour.

Liu also armed the vehicle with model radar and missiles to make it look more real and vivid.
