Beijing hikers on foot with love

A man carries his son on his back during an “8-hour Challenge” charity hike in the mountainous area in Mentougou district in Beijing on Saturday. The event brings together about 2,000 hikers, with many coming from all over the country with their family, to raise fund for improving P.E. facilities in rural schools. Organized by China Youth Development Foundation, the hike is in its third year, raising a total sum of more than 2 million yuan (about $320,000).
