China wishes to establish good neighbor agreement

Premier Li Keqiang said China made it a priority to develop relationships with ASEAN in its good-neighbor foreign policy.

China is willing to hold active discussions on signing a good neighbor and cooperation agreement with ASEAN countries to promote regional stability and peace, Li said during the China-ASEAN leaders meeting.

China also hopes the agreement can provide the legal and institutional framework to steer forward the relationship between China and ASEAN.
