China appoints new vice foreign ministers

BEIJING - China's State Council on Monday appointed Song Tao and Cheng Guoping as vice foreign ministers, replacing Lu Guozeng and Li Jinzhang.
It also appointed Cui Yuying, replacing Dong Yunhu, as deputy director of the State Council Information Office.
In addition, Li Xiaojie was appointed director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, replacing Shan Jixiang.
Zhang Yaping was named vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, while Wei Liqun was removed from his vice president post at the Chinese Academy of Governance.
